Horizontal lines when playing Pro Evo 5 in 2405 and 2407

I played this game at the highest quality which is 1024x720..when i play them i have horizontal lines on my screen..i tested with 2405 and 2407 and they both have the same exact lines..i think its the refresh rate thing..the came on and off..i can see them when the screen is pure black..


so what do i need to do to overcome this problem..my pc is pentium d 930, 2gb ddr 667, 2X 7900GS

i dont think its the banding issues since the same problem occurs on my 2405

do i need to use vga cable or dvi?

any inputs will be helpful..Thanks
 
DVI cable is best...
But check the game settings and make sure V-Sync is turned off...
And the refresh rate should be 60hz for a LCD...
Change refresh rate under windows, although some games will give you different refresh rates options for each resolution in game...
I don't play Evo so I don't know about that game...
