Hooters sues Ker's Wing House

Give me a break. It took Hooter's 10 years to decide to sue Ker's? And keep in mind that it's not even the ORIGINAL Hooters that's doing the suing. The original Hooter's is in Clearwater. The big franchise machine that spits out Hooter's restaurants today is Hooter's of America in Atlanta, GA.

They both have good wings and they both have waitresses in tight uniforms. What's wrong with having these qualities in more than one restaurant???

Oooh... Just found out that a Ker's Wing House is opening down the street from my work. I've already got one around the corner from my house. That's two strikes against Hooter's right there. I have to drive a few miles to get to a Hooter's from either work or home.

I love it. The judge said, "There's no way you can confuse the two." and the jury awarded Ker's with 1.2M to cover legal fees.

I don't have anything against Hooters, but I do have something against frivolous lawsuits and frivilous lawsuits amongst corporations is even more stupid. I like seeing the tables turned like this. I wish the jury would've made Hooters pay for the county's court costs as well, just to make a point.

Hooters is sooo 1980.

I prefer a local chain called Roosters. The women are much more hot, and wear nice revealing clothes... but you don't have the ugly tights or retro clothing.

I prefer the wings at Ker's, but Hooters is OK. Half naked women is always a good thing, but when it comes right down to why I would go in the first place, it's going to be for the wings.
