Plus this is just the newbie bonus as I've been there less than a year. All of the engineers that have been here a few years were around 2500 after taxes, and the more senior folk are closer to 4k and up.

steel? you're union? i hope you're private, i hope you're private......

Well... yes the mill workers are union but engineers and management are not. Us salary folk haven't had awesome bonuses the past couple years, but we did this time so we're happy.

Yeah, I had a great one in June. Always feels good to get a nice sized bonus.

I had no idea we had any foundrys left in the U.S.

I thought the last one in Indiana closed up a few years ago.

Nice bonus. Not a bad idea on the S2, I have the fascinate, but I'm giving up on android for an iphone 5.

Nothing against android, but I have everything else apple, might as well have the phone too.

Back on topic, you could by 1300 worth of transformers too. That'd be pretty sweet.

Do they combine together to form a cluster?

Not a foundry, finishing mill for steel sheet. Mainly automotive and appliance stuff. As frightening as it may be, there's a very good chance I've had a hand in a part of your late 2011 model or later car, washer, or other stuff. Keep that in mind when you see how I post D:

Brandon, if I was you I would spend it on booze and fireworks. Think of how fun your weekend can be!

I don't own anything beyond 2005.

Wow, talk about life coming to a stand still.
