hookup to LCD flat screen TV from laptop? how

I have 32" JVC LCDHD capable flat screen TV that is 6 yrs old (LT-Z32S2), it has input for component, composite, S-video. Has native resolution of 1280x768 (W-XGA)

I like to hook it up to my laptop Presario 2800T with native resolution of 1028x726. Will this work with the laptop?

Either the laptop has to have s-video out or the TV has to have dvi input. Otherwise you will need some kind of dvi - s-video converter... but the ones I have seen do not do the best job.

My laptop has the s-video out and TV has s-video input, this will work, right?

Yes just use the s-video from the laptop to the LCD TV.
