hooking up two routers

hows it going? i have a two routers where one of them is wireless
the regular router is a dynex router and the wireless one is a netgear one. (they were both free in case anyone was wondering why i have those routers)

what i am looking to do is cable modem -> dynex router -> netgear router

I will have 3 the computers to run off the dynex router (only 4ports) and the wireless router for my wireless laptop and wireless xbox and also one more computer (not wireless).

So what do i do to set thsi up? ive been checking out ezlan.com page but i dont understand it, its kinda too technical for me so i dont know what i am looking for. i also searched some of the older post but most people wanted to know how to hook up two wireless routers. TIA

basically what the other posters said. see if the negear has an option to act as an access point (basically the same as turning dhcp off), otherwise your network will start taking for ever to route traffic and some of the information will drop.

and put some gum in the internet port of the netgear router, so you don't use it. go from regular port to regular port.
