hooking up the hardcano cpu temp probe

I already hooked up my heatsink (doh) and I forgot to hook up the hardcano probe wire - when looking at the instructions I am unclear as to how to hook this up since the entire underside of the cpu is populated by pins....

i'm looking at the thermaltake website and it appears to be no help...

Did it come with some of that high temp tape?

The wires are very thin, just tape to the center where there are no pins and run the wires between the pins. When you install your cpu just use your finger to hold the wires in place until you drop it in.

The way you are suggesting is physically impossible (unfortunately).

Observe the pins on the bottom of the A64 3000+ here...

now that chip is about 4cmx4cm and I'm guessing that area with no pins is about 1.5cmx1.5cm tops.

I just measured the part of the probe that is intended to fit under the chip this is about 3cm in length. There is no way it could possibly fit in that pin free space....
