Hooking up my dvd player to my HDTV. not sure if I should hook it up through S-Video or the Colorstream plugs. no idea what the difference is. help is appreciated

You'll probably want to use component video to connect to an HDTV. Not sure if "Colorstream" is Toshiba's name for component, but definitely don't use S-video. It'll look like poop.

A quick google search produced the following:
ColorStream? component video

This is the best type of signal delivery currently availableA ColorStream? component signal bypasses your TV's tuner, comb filter, and NTSC decoder. It is delivered to your TV via three cables and keeps all of the picture elements separate, which increases colour resolution. This type of connection provides you with a very clean picture, eliminating noise and crosstalk between colours.
