Hooking up an old receiver.

I'm hooking up an old receiver to a pair of new speakers and seem to have forgot something over the years. No matter how I configure the speaker wires I am getting nothing on the output. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

That's kind of vague. Post more details. How are the speakers hooked up? Is the receiver working at all? Do you have the proper speakers selected (A or B)?

Receiver model number?

Is the radio working?

What source are you using?
