I just moved into a new house which has four bedrooms. In the master bedroom, I have a Motorola Surfboard Modem and a Microsoft Wireless Basestation (mn500? or something like that).

One of my roomates wants internet in her room down the hall, but I don't want to run a direct line to her room from the modem.

Does she just need a wireless card (if so, what kind) or does she have to have both the card and one of those air port things?

Thanks

The Airport Base station is just a regular wireless router,in an Apple design. All she needs is the Airport card. If its a G4 powerbook, it could take either the Airport Extreme or regular Airport. You have to check on that.

Cool thanks. So it should pick up the wireless "frequency" even though it is a mac and not a pc?
