Hooking up a laptop to a projector. Any guidelines to which VGA Extension cable to get?

It's going to be an iBook hooked up to a projector in a computer lab. Mainly used for presentation and computer lessons. Are there any guidelines to what quality and grade of VGA extension cable to get? I'm looking at once and it's only 10 feet. Said "only for monitors less than 17 inch."
