I currently have a Linksys WRT54G router hooked up to my home network. I have some PC's wired to it, but my laptops and the HTPC are hooked up wirelessly. I wonder how I should hook up my HD-A1 to it, but without running any wires. I have my HTPC hooked up to the router with a Linksys USB WiFi G adapter. Should I get another WRT54G and connect my HD-A1 to it? How would I go about making both routers communicate wirelessly? If this is possible, I could also connect my HTPC to the new router, since it is right next to the HD-A1. Thanks for any help.

You could get a wireless bridge like the Linksys WET54G or if you need to go on the cheap *AND* 802.11b is fast enough, you could opt for a Linksys WGA11B. I personally use 2 of the WET54G and 1 of the WET54GS5( same thing, but with 5 port switch ). They have been in service for about a year and have only been power cycled a couple of times. If you wanted to use a WRT54G as a client, you would need to get a pre- rev5 model and use 3rd party firmware like DD-WRT
