Hooking up 3 monitors

Just got my hd 5670 card with dvi/hdmi/display port and will be hooking it up to my two acer 22 inch monitors and a 32 inch 720p HDTV. Got an active DP to VGA adapter and was wondering if I should put the TV or the monitor on it. Any advice?

Do you have a particular usage scenario in mind for the dual monitors?
Typically I'd have a primary and a secondary, so the secondary would be fine with VGA, but it depends on what you plan on doing.
Also try the digital on the TV and see how nicely it plays (i.e. is it easy to get it working at a proper resolution that fills the screen) and test it vs using the VGA. If one plays nicer than the other, that kind of makes the decision for you (unless you are doing heavy text work on both monitors and want DVI to make sure they are both sharp)

Personally I would DVI the main monitor, DP to VGA the 2nd monitor, and HDMI the tv. However my 32" HDTV only has HDMI in for a method of connecting to a computer, it lacks VGA.

This is the setup I was considering when I started wondering about DP's supposed better performance. I figured using a vga adapter would change things but wasn't sure. I currently use my two desktop monitors for websurfing and keeping background task visible. I play video on the HDTV by dragging the player onto the screen.
