Hooking a second computer into a hub..?

n00b question I know. Sorry.
I've searched and found out that it IS possible.. but I don't know how exactly.

Basic setup is 1 IP address. Currently split to 3 computers via a router. Computer #3 has a hub connected on the line (we had 2 shorter lengths of Cat5 and made it one length with an old 2 port hub we had)..

Now we have a fourth computer that we want to hookup and it would be easier to run the ethernet line to the hub than way down to the router.

So how do we do it? Do we just plug Computer #4 into the 2nd port on the hub and it will work?

Thanks!

Every thing the same BUT!

Its own name.

If you are using DHCP - nothing else.

If you are using static IPs - it needs it own IP.
