think it'll do good or bomb?
edit:
opening day:
"It's as if Hoodwinked was put together in some back alley with a Commodore 64."
-- Willie Waffle, WAFFLEMOVIES.COM
48% on rottentomatoes, but i'm probably going to see it anyway (matinee)
Edit2:
"Hoodwinked" received mixed critical reviews but its opening day was a financial triumph for a movie that was made for a relatively paltry $15 to $20 million.
Hoodwinked debuted with $16.6 million in ticket sales over the four-day MLK weekend = ~$4M/day
Weekend2 had $11M (3days) = ~$3.6M/day
Usually when a film doesnt have a sharp drop off, that's a good sign the film will last.
What do you think?
edit3:
4th week and Still going on strong? $40M so far.
Feb 4th weekend:
5. "Hoodwinked," $5.3 million
Edit4:
Feb 11th weekend:
9. "Hoodwinked," $2.502
