It's just so damn good :cool::D

I'm torn between the Schnitzel man, and the singing goat as my favourite characters...

I was particular impressed coming from watching Over the Hedge before, which was sensationally crap (with the exception of the animation).

Cars was awesome too (the animation was mindblowing AND the story was pretty good).

At first I thought it would be just another crappy computer animated movie, but it turned out to be much better than expected (and I wasn't expecting much from the commercials). I love the squirrel :) I like all the songs, too, especially "red is blue". Downloaded them all, even the schnitzel song.

"What the schnitzel?"

It was so so. animation seemed a little on the cheap side too. I give the movie a solid 3 out of 5.

I loved cars though. Excellent movie and top rate production all the way through.

I agree, except for the time slowdown scene of Over the Hedge which I loved. Of course, the tape recorder slowdown in Hoodwinked was even better. Hoodwinked was a truly excellent movie.

Really? Obviously Cars has better graphics, the budget is probably five folds of Hoodwinked's budget. But I thought Hoodwinked was a better movie. Cars is probably the weakest Pixar film.

I don't think it was intended to be on the same level as Shrek or Toy Story. According to Wikipedia, it had a budget of $20M. Toy Story: $30M. Shrek: $60M. Cars: $120M.

It also lacked any Randy Newman songs, which is a good bonus. It also starred Anne Hathaway, another bonus.

"Why do they call YOU 'Flippers'?"
-Go Flippers! Go Flippers! Go Flippers!-
"Um, no reason."

:music:
Well I got horns that open bottles
and I got horns that hold my keys
I got horns that when ya turn 'em right
they help me watch TV
I got horns that open pickle jars
and horns that come with hair
I got horns that hang my other horns
I always come prepa-a-a-a-red!"
:music:

The only way it would have been better was if he was one of those "fainting" goats.
"O-o-o-o-h An avalanche is comin' down
I do not feel prepared
It's rumblin' like a mountain lion
Must say that I'm scared"
-faints-

I love how they intertwined the story lines, and gave each one its own slightly different viewpoint. The music just seemed to have a style all its own too. What other movie has a song about schnitzel?

Yeah, Hoodwinked was just 'fun' all the way through. The songs are super awesome, the dialogue is funny as hell, what is there not to like?
