Honor societies - should I join them

I am graduating soon and I got invited to the Golden Key and Phi Beta Kappa honor societies.

Has anyone ever heard of these societies, and is it worth joining? Will it even matter on my resume? They want around $50 each for lifetime membership.

No I haven't heard of them and it couldn't hurt to join. If nothing else it looks good on your resume to at least some people.
