But just a FYI for potential buyers, I believe I read this phone isn't going to receive any more software updates. So be sure to research it before buying so you know what you are getting.
 
Actually they are testing android 8 oreo on the chinese and india versions in a closed beta and haven't decided yet. Customer support told me if the closed beta doesn't have any performance issues then they will release an official build of oreo for the honor 6x.

Had that happen with a ZTE mid/high-end phone I bought a few months back at Newegg on ShellShocker. Though it was such a great deal, then found out it didn't have Android version updates.
