'Honey Boo Boo' Ratings Top Republican National Convention




There is no stopping "Honey Boo Boo."


First, she conquered "Toddler and Tiaras," when she coined the phrase "Honey Boo Boo Child."



Now, Alana Thompson and her family have conquered the Republican National Convention.


The ratings for TLC's increasingly popular show, "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo," skyrocketed Thursday night for the show's fourth episode, pulling in almost 3 million viewers in the 10 p.m. slot, according to Nielsen via the Hollywood Reporter.

Even Fox News couldn't beat "Honey Boo Boo."

On Wednesday, the Georgia family hit a water park as a reward for completing their weight loss challenge (even if one of them gained weight).

Mama June took off her sock to reveal an old foot injury, a battered toe that had been run over by a fork lift.

I really doubt that the Democratic convention was any more popular. Political conventions are just glorified pep rallies. Only mindless partisan hacks think that anything meaningful occurs there. They were only interesting back in the days of smoke filled rooms.

Another bullshit ratings post comparing to only one channels coverage of the RNC. Much like the ones comparing that abortion of a show to CNN's DNC coverage.

Both were over 20 million, with the DNC taking in something like 3-4 million more viewers if I recall accurately.
