I confess that I was bored on Thursday and started flipping channels so I'm one of those viewers. Sorry, Mitt. That's got to be embarassing.

Sorry, I tried posting a link but it's not working.

Keep in mind they are on soooo many different channels. Home Shopping Network will probably beat any one channel for both conventions.

I don't look at it as a political thing - I look at it as a major embarrassment for every American that tunes into trash like this....

We saw that Honey Boo-Boo show for a few minutes while on vacation (we don't have cable at home). Talk about exploitation TV... I think this says more about the country than it does about Romney.

Maybe not. At least Honey Boo Boo is more honest than the show the GOP put on this last week. D:

That would not be a difficult task, but I think the concept of integrity alludes Honey and her family, mostly the mother. She is just acting a part for her mother. She is being used, she does not know what she is all about or what she really wants.

Sadly, this is true. Poor girl. :(

So when an episode of "Teen Whores and the Moms who enable" beat out one channel of the DNC, what will that mean? :awe:

For awhile now, it seems both parties conventions have been self congratulatory circle jerks, full of rhetoric and promises, lean on substance.

Anyway, I have not seen this honey boo boo garbage, but if it is as bad as some of the other TLC garbage, it is borderline child abuse IMO.

Anyone else remember when TLC, Bravo and A&E actually had thought-provoking programs? Seriously, there was a time when this existed...

I assume the trash you refer to is the RNC.

Honey Boo Boo is a much better use of one's time than watching endless politicians pandering and lying. I am not being facetious. When I watch Honey Boo Boo I find the entire thing shocking, but entertaining as well. The RNC depresses me. These are the best the country has to offer and they are up there hurling vitriol and rhetoric, devoid of any substance.

TLC is basically redneck reality TV channel, just like Discover is simply Alaskan reality TV now.
