That is funny.

But there are ACTUAL people with those kind of signs all around Dallas. I have seen on guy in particular with a "why lie, need beer" sign, and ppl actually give him cans of beer at the stop light.

Go figure . . . .

Makes me think of that "song" that Chris Rock did a while back in parody...."If you see a homeless guy with a funny sign, he hasn't been homeless that long..."

There was a guy awhile back here in Oregon that was standing along side the road with a sign that said.

"Have job, have house, need BOAT"

And people were giving him MONEY!!

Hmm... mebbe i should stand on the corner with a sign "Have house, Have Job, Have Car... NEED WOMAN" and see what people give me ;)

IIRC there was one panhandler who'd work the busy intersections in Downtown LA so well that he'd come home with up to $1000 a day.
He had two houses, three cars, etc, all paid with tax free earnings. It was absolutely incredible.
