Imagine your monitor screen as a tub, ok? And the picture is wrapped around the tube in such a way that while it cant cover the whole thing, the area where there isnt picture is hidden in the back. Well, MY TUBE GOT FLIPPED AROUND! The left half of the screen is on the right, the right half is on the left, and theres 6" missing and theres a giant (about 6") black bar down the middle! WTF. Can anyone tell me how to fix this??

You only option is probably to take the monitor in for repair.

The monitor has obviously lost the horizontal synch. While it might be something you could repair if you knew what you were doing, the voltages inside a monitor can be quite lethal, and the peace of mind afforded by allowing another individual to take that risk on your behalf is usually well worth the few dollars it would cost.
