TG is great. Ben tries to help out and gets a bunch of undeserved s***. Keep up the good work man!

I'm enjoying the e6400 I got from you :)

I currently have my 'preorder' for an E6600 with Tankguys and they have been nothing but forthright about all the supply problems. The messages from them, both in Email form and in their forums are clear, articulate, and easily understood.

The price increase, which amounted to less than 4 dollars in my case, was optional in order to expedite delivery.

They have earned my respect and my business.

What's the problem?

Rant on:disgust:

Ben offered a pre-order ONLY after being asked by numerous customers who had to have the latest and greatest. When he started the preorders, he said he didn't really like doing it, but did it for his customers. Unfortunately, he gets all kinds of grief from a handful of whiners and lurkers who have no personal experience with TG's, but somehow managed to gleam ALL the facts 2nd hand from the forums. TG's is a small outfit which built itself on offering great customer service. Unfortunately, he made a bad decision with this Conroe pre-order thing and his company didn't have enough financial clout to secure the chips in a timely fashion. As Ben has said in his posts here, the increased price was just a way to speed up getting the chips since his distributors increased their prices to him. Would the Egg or ZZF have done the same thing? Hell no! Why? cuz they're big enough that distributors would never risk pissing them off. TG's isn't big enough to absorb such a hit x 100 or 1000. How much have you people already paid for your build? $1000 or more? Another $20 (guessing) was gonna kill ya? Probably not. You act like he raised the price of milk so you couldn't afford to feed your kids. This is an expensive bleeping hobby of ours. In the end, did your life come to a screeching halt cuz your cpu wasn't in your hands? If so, get a life!

Rant off

I feel much better now:D

By the way, I DO shop from TG's and will continue to do so.
