I've actually seen worse happen. Back in HS, we had this thing in the A/V lab. No idea WTF it was for, it jsut got used as a small table. It was a table, with a piece of translucent plastic on top, and beneath that, a couple flourescent lights. The plastic was additionally supported in the center by a metal pole - about 6 inches long, half an inch or so in diameter.

We used to sit on prettymuch every surface in that place. This one included. But then, this one guy took a seat on there.

The plastic broke, and with all his weight suddenly supported on the metal pole, his jeans and boxers didn't stand much of a chance. Through a chance alignment of a certain oriface, he got an unwelcome surprise.
