They were planning to have a new coupe to replace it. Its just like the Acura Integra. Its gone but the RSX is the replacement.

Too bad, it was really the only Honda that I respected (Integra doesn't count cause it's an Acura here :p)

Ford Mustang, the most popular sporty coupe, starts at $17,000 and outsells Prelude 12-to-1.

Hmm, only 12 to 1. :D

hmm... took them a while to scrap it.

but the only reason the prelude sales was way down last year because nobody wanted to buy a 5 year old model. If they actually came out with a new look every 3 years or something, then sales would have been muchos higher. In fact, I know of 3 people that held back from buying a prelude because they were expecting a new model to come out soon. and knowing how new models will make the older version depreciate in value quite steeply, everyone was either holding out, or getting a celica.

anyway, the prelude was a nice car, BUT I wouldn't buy one.
