It doesn't look right. Plus thats one slow F50. :p

If he wanted wings and things sprouting out of the car he still couldve stuck with an NSX. :)

EDIT: Just saw the work in progress pics... that pretty impressive though.

Yea the front is a lil off. The back looks semi authentic though.

Meh. I too am impressed with his craft, but why ruin a wonderful car like an NSX by trying to make it look like a better, but uglier car? Save the kit-car conversions for Fieros!

before: rice-tastic bodykit so you know the car is a lost cause.
after: impressive bodywork, but it just doesn't look right.

Looks like a Ferrari, performs like a Honda. Not something I'd want in my garage :p

The crappy rice burner is one of the most significant vehicles in automotive history - Ferrari and Lamborghini wouldn't be where they are today if it weren't for the NSX. When it was first introduced, it handed the competition it's ass. Just think, a plebeian car manufacturer, Honda, created a modern supercar that took the automotive world by storm - a notion that made every other manufacturer sit up and listen.

It may not be advance by todays standard, but 12 second quarter miles aren't that far behind. Calling it a crappy rice burner only proves how ignorant you really are.

Such a waste. It should be a crime turning a crappy japanese car into anything resembling a ferrari.

It's really funny how the people on this forum calls the NSX crappy.

It's a whole lot better than what the american manufacturers been churning up.

All they been letting up are turd on wheels. Sub par fit/finish, horrendous interior, lacking build quality and lacking styling.

Ok..I am not a fan of american cars either, however, if you can show me how a new NSX is better than a new corvette then Ill agree. But heres a few reasons why I don't agree.
1. MSRP on NSX = $90k , MSRP on corvette = 44k in coupe form to match NSX
2. Power/Engine: NSX 290 hp vtech, corvette = 400hp/400ft/lb tq
3. Corvette has a better weight distro.
4. The list continues on....

I personally don't care for corvettes, but just giving you one example of how the NSX is crappy and overpriced compared to an american car that outperforms and outclasses it in most all aspects. Now if I brought german cars in the mix, there would be no end to the NSX's blowout.

You should also check out how much the NSX costs before IMPORT TAXES.
Similar to why the Vette costs 40k dollars in the states and 40k pounds in the UK.
You're a smart guy, you can figure out how much that translates to.

The Vette (C5), with its power, better weight distribution, and whatever else you're flaunting, got it's ass handed and came last in a race between the NSX, Ferrari, Porsche, and Skyline.

old thread that i posted

Ok, then lets use the E46 M3 as an example. As I know first hand the cost of one. That was imported, yet I still saved 35k compared to the NSX, yet it still would wipe the floor with it.
And in the case of the american car...It just depends on the area your judging. Just use the case of the cobra which is low 30's, and is faster than the NSX in the 60 and the 1/4 (but admittedly get its ass handed over in the corners.

And as far as the race you pointed out, its meaningless. Race wins are a dime a dozen amongst cars of these sorts, and a race win says more about the drivers than it does the cars in most cases. Ive too many races to understand that the best car doesn't always win.

Oh and when I pointed out the cost differences, thats the most minor of concerns. Take for example the R34 skyline, which is priced in the 50's in japan, yet motorex sells used ones for 85k+ in America, which is close to the NSX's cost. Now this is a completely different story. The R34 is far more worthwile of that price tag than the NSX. If the NSX was awd, had a better motor and performance, and was 30 grand cheaper, then it would be a great car.

Nice work, but it's still a f**king Honda. An overpriced and underpowered one at that.

Where are you getting your info from?

The RX8 and the 350Z are as fast as the M3.
The S4, STi, and Evo are quicker than the M3.

So how does the M3 wipe the floor with the NSX?

It's faster in the wet than the M3 is in the dry.

Well, there are two NSXs on that page. Eitherway it's still getting killed by a ricer's $30k wet dream ;) EVO/STI. There is a tuned M3 that, when wet, beats it handidly. Plus, conditions may be moist, but it's not like top gear is racing these around in a downpour - otherwise that list would be entirely meaningless.
