I just saw a car that looked exactly like an Acura RSX, but the trunk on it was badged as a honda (H symbol), and on the side it read: "Integra". so, did someone just badge their car like this, or is honda motor corp now selling a watered down version of the RSX as a honda integra?

In Japan, the Integra is a Honda, but not here. The driver swapped the emblem.

haha...no. it was actually a perfectly clean RSX, aside from the fact that it had the honda emblem, and on the left where it would say Acura, it said Integra, and on the right where it would say RSX, it was bare.

it was so clean that i thought maybe they were selling them as hondas now too.

so you mean someone had an actual RSX and then replaced the REAR acura emblem w/ an integra one and the A badge with an H badge?

After all this you thought it was a honda? Wow.... sucker born every minute.

The RSX is the new model Integra, and Honda = Acura. Acura is only an american division of the Honda company, in Japan they are one in the same.

You actually buy into the "Luxurious Acura" scheme instead of seeing those Acuras for what they really are? "Glorified Honda"

Who's the sucker born now? ;)

well seeing as they are the same exact company, i figured maybe they were starting to sell a watered down version of the RSX under the Honda brand, and using the old integra name. you know...just like the Lexus ES and the Toyota Camry look almost exactly the same, but one of them is sold under their luxury brand.

sorry if that makes me a sucker

I've seen it done. Since an Acura RSX was originally a Honda Integra, why not change teh emblems

I'm seen Infiniti G35 restored back to a Nissan Skyline 350GT

That's an easy one, why would anyone want a right hand drive Integra when one could just buy a US Spec RSX

so not worth the PITA importing it here... unless it was type-r... and you want to be so special... no sense bringing an integra over when they already sell the RSX over here as previously mentioned.

I have seen a few of these "re-badges" that looks really good... so screw all you guys that call them ricers. An RSX will toast your Escort anyday.

It could have been a Euro-spec ITR, but then again that's as likely as a me owning a Noble M12 before I'm 30th.

Is it true that only North America even has "Acura" divisions? There are a whole lot of brand snobs in the America then... lard yard of the badge snots.

badged how it should properly be badged.

every Acura in Japan is actually just a Honda... should be the same thing here IMO.

in Japan.. Honda Integra. I like that :D
