The HSV-010 is Honda's replacement for the NSX in Japan's SuperGT series. The engine is a front/mid mounted 3.4L V8 producing somewhere around 500-600 HP. The thing sounds absolutely beastly, so perhaps it could be using an F1 derived motor?

I hope this car will one day make it into showrooms as the successor to the NSX. All of the other cars in SuperGT (GT-R, Supra, RX-7, even the ASL Garaiya) have current or past production counterparts, so maybe the HSV-010 won't end up as a one-off race car.

I really hope Honda does bring it to production...but that would seem to be against company direction these days.

knowing honda they'll make extraordinarily minor changes to it over the next 10 years at which it'll be outrun by accords, so they'll kill it.
