lol...paddle shifters for those of us racing in a fit.
"Sport models with automatic transmission come equipped with steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters. So step right in and take a closer look."

13-14k for a base model seems a little high. My Scion TC came loaded at 16k.

More Specs

Looks like a Chevy Aveo to me, Aveo starts at 10k. Of course, getting a Honda over a Chevy may (or may not) justify a few extra $$.

Haha, yeah right.

I'd rather have the Toyota Yaris. At least it's fresh. The Fit is Japan's table scraps from a few years ago

The Fit is definitely a great car. I was in one while in Asia, and for such a tiny car, it's got great quality. Similar to the Toyota Yaris, another great one. But is it really 13-14K? That is a bit much, seeing as the Yaris starts at just over 10K. Then again, pretty much everything but seats and doors are optional on the Yaris. I'm really glad to see these little, practical cars come over here.

They will be available here with both side torso and curtain air bags and the flexibility of the interior are making me consider it. Plus it looks 5 times better than the yaris hatchback.

There's no Civic 5-door so its a little bit of a different market IMHO.

Wait, '04 Civic is new?

Ha! The blue graphics on the interior page are awesome!! :) I like the aliens best.

That thing looks like garbage though, and that's from a Honda/Acura fanboi.

Anyone with half a brain doesn't pay MSRP and the fit will be no different.

I saw a bit on that on last night's 10pm news. Even the manufacturer admits there are quality problems. The small sedan they showed is suppose to be about 8k.

Naturally, it doesn't currently meet US safety or emissions standards even though they're suppose to go on sale in 18 months.

Geely is the name.
