Honda has some sort of extended emissions warranty on their vehicles for certain years under certain mileage. Last time my oxygen sensor died it was replaced for free because of that program. I am now in a different city and O2 sensor died again. I just called the local dealership and the guy basically BSed me and is trying to get me to bring my car in first. Is anyone familiar with that extended warranty program? Apparently it was instituted because vehicles of certain years were having lots of emissions related failures. The o2 sensors on hondas are relatively expensive

if there is a chance that honda will foot the bill, then it will be better to take it in. It costs > $100 for the part alone. The guys at autozone were surprised when they looked it up. Plus, I don't know how to.
