I don't think there's a CX anymore.

DX, HX, LX, EX and Si ... and the Hybrid

edit: changed order

The site is almost done with the upgrade and restoring the old style. Thanks to all of the PATIENT members. Hopefully everything will be complete with in the next few days.

Damn slow server migration. :p

DX, LX and EX differ in trim. DX and LX have the same engine. EX has VTEC and maybe 15 more horsepower but better fuel economy. HX has a different VTEC engine geared for fuel efficiency. Si is the high performance model with its own engine. Hybrid is like a EX as far as appointments but with the hybrid drivetrain. Confusing enough?

Well, if it was a full list of specs, it would include torque, and this being a Honda Civic... of course you couldnt find it.

Nah, let's add the Canadian equivalents.

In format USA/Canada:

DX - DX
LX - LX
EX - Si
Si - SiR
HX - VX
** - CX
Hybrid - Hybrid
SE - SE

Edit - Can't forget the SE. Excellent value.

Put down the crackpipe. None of that is correct.

You guys forgot VP (Value Package) which is a DX plus automatic and a/c.

Anything below the LX is not worth getting.

Guess that's another trim level. Canada gets the SE which is CD/air/pw/pl. No AT, but then again, we're not lazy Americans ... ;)

New Si is a hatchback with a 2.0L i-VTEC motor with 160hp. It looks better than the previous generation Hatchback but i dunno why they went with the 2.0L motor.

Si is pretty much a base RSX engine. 160 horsies IIRC.

160hp @ 6500 (Redlines at 6800)
132 lb-ft @ 5000

- M4H

Bah. I didn't know the redline was that low on the Si.

Is Honda's website down or something? You can't find this out on your own?

Difference Between the Honda Civic LX and EX are

1) Alloy Wheels
2) Vtec engine
3) Sunroof
4) Keyless entry
5) Anti-lock brakes

Those are the few I can remember when I got my 2003 Civic EX. Not sure on the 2004 models though.
