is there very much difference between a honda 100 cc and 125 cc bike in terms of HP? Cant google search right now but i am presented with opportunity to buy a 125 for $400.00 or the 100 with a seized piston for $200.00. The 100 is in better shape cosmetically, but I just want something to putt putt around on in a field.

Both are early 70's models I believe.
 
Get the one that works. you'll spend a lot more money fixing up a 70's engine than you could imagine. If it's just field use, who cares what it looks like. Make sure it runs, and the brakes work and you're golden.

I'm seriously looking into getting a dirt bike for trails.
