haha, nah, he'll post it as long as it's not about an american car. 🙂

america only got two cars in there. pretty sorry, but that's one more than they deserve. the focus over the protoge/civic/corolla? yea, WHATEVA!

RX-8??? and 5er gets bumped eh?

i really want to test drive the tsx to see what hte fuss is about.. since it did bump rsx out.

i have to wait until the 8th to read it!!!!!!! booooooooooo

Congrats to Honda !

Hip Hip Hooray !

I still don't exactly know why the S2000 is still so highly rated though as an out and out sports car ; Its a brilliant car , but I still feel the suspension isn't up to scratch with the car.It should be a bit more taut IMHO

Although Honda does seem to know what they're doing since they've got 3 cars on the C&D List 😉

hmmm does C n D get a lot of money from ford so they put the focus as one of ten best?? I heard a fiasco about this...

S2000 is a really good car. It handles really well too. Sure, it's only 4 cylinders and 240hp, but just think of it this way, the hp is 240 because Honda wants it to continue to be an LEV. NOW, if they removed that LEV BS, I'm sure they can produce a 300hp 4 cylinder. Also, name me any sports car out there that is considered a low emission vehicle?

WTF would anyone with a Sports Car care about emissions, and then why would anyone want a 4 cylinder sports car? 😕

Lotus has built 4 cylinder sports cars for many years.

Most sports cars are 4 cyls.

Actually, rx-7 engine can last without much work till 100,000 miles, then after it'll need new apex seals or engine rebuild, but after that it's a new car again. the blowing up part you mite be hearing about is boosting high PSI w/ a weak fuel pump, so the engine is suffocating by lack of fuel, then boom!

So yeah! i'd get a RX-7 over most of these cars. I'll pick up a s2000 for my daily driver and a hooked up rx-7 as my weekend monster. 😎

yeah the mod on po.com forums, took his rex out to the track, first run blew his motor haha, all stock too

but it's okay, he's running 12's now, and he'll be in the 11's soon.

dp die

and you'd want a 4cyl sports car when it's the best in it's class is relatively cheap and is fun to drive

the s2k fits the bill in all 3

A Lotus Elise also weighs a lot less than a S2000.

When you have a 4-cyl engine as powerful as the S2000, your gas mileage is not any better than a 6-cyl or even 8-cyl engine with less power. An LS1 Corvette with twice the amount of cylinders and nearly 3 times the displacement gets equal if not better mileage than an S2000..and the engine weight difference is neglible between the two too.

I have a 300hp 4cyl car that's 50-state LEV rated. Sure it has 4 doors but many would still consider it a sports car. 😕
