Honda has built a V-8 prototype and tested it in the sort of no-frills demonstration vehicle known as a "running mule."

your link works about as well as a honda V8 :p

bah works again

he vice president said that vehicle "almost has to have a V-8" if only, as is the case with the premium sedan, for image.
or maybe its because anyone who tests an LS and an RL back to back will notice how completely underpowered the RL is, how it has to shift to pass on the highway and get into the upper RPM range to do anything

The link works fine for me, just like a Honda V-8 would. :p

No editing of the OP either. :)

/hell freezes over, pigs fly, etc

Hopefully it's at least 4.5L and has a redline of at least 7,000.

It's not like honda has never made a V8 before, they've just never mass-produced it. They also have had 2 (I think its 2) V10 Formula engine designs produced.

You're probably right, unless it's going to be a 3.0L screamer.
