Anyone with a CL-S/TL-S like myself has heard about the car's possible transmission problems since the CL-S debuted in the spring of 2001 ...
After an LA Times story about the problem, Honda has responded by offering 100K mile extended warranties on all effected car's transmissions. Pretty good of them I guess. Personally, I don't know if I want to get a letter in the mail saying I'm effected though (Only some 2003 TL's are effected)...

My 2003 so far has almost 4000 miles on it and doesnt have any signs of a bad transmission. Honda claims only about 1.6% of all cars sold so far have had the problem, so I dont think this problem is widespread ... But its still nice of them to offer the extended warranty!
