Hi guys,

I've got a 2004 Acura RSX that I've added a dash cam to. The basic wiring and installation went ok, but I want to complete the install with a delayed shutoff switch. I've got everything wired but I need a connection to the battery that is permanently on. When I checked with my multimeter, it looks like one of the few that is easily accessible is Optional connector #15 in the linked diagram that is a 'U' socket. This looks perfect since it's unused, and if I get the right connector then the connection would be pretty secure.

Unfortunately, I am having trouble finding this connector and was hoping someone here could point me in the right direction. Any ideas on where to start?

That looks similar to the way I got permanent power on an older Honda, and IIRC, a normal male spade connector fits in there:

Although it might be different on the newer car.
