"For what it's worth this same source indicates that the coupe's distinct styling won't be the only surprise that's in store - supposedly there's big news under the hood too - could there be a turbocharger in store for the future?"

"We don't have any intention to keep turbos just dedicated to Acura," he says. "In the future, it's possible that they will be adopted in Honda products as well." - Takeo Fukui in an interview given to Automotive News

"In other news, after thousands of aftermarket enthusiasts dropped a K-series motor into a Civic and added forced induction, Honda has finally decided that yeah, it might be worth looking at."

Seems doubtful...I mean, do they really want to pussify and make the S2000 so useless b/c everyone wants an Accord Coupe instead? Nope.

I can understand having maybe an Accord Si or a more powerful version, but it'd be leaps and bounds in terms of power beyond *ANYTHING* in the Honda/Acura lineup, which makes zero sense from a business perspective. Unless they plan on having this turbo'ed version in the regular lineup for Honda cars, and introducing a brand new lineup of engines across the board with turbos.

the V6 6 speed coupe is already just as fast as the s2k. and redesigns seldom get slower. the s2k is a lame duck now unfortunately.

hmm, i didn't realize the pics would be out before the schedule or whatever. Looks alright, but looks were always secondary to me.

The rumblings were it was supposed to get an RDX engine.

Maybe i can trade, but then i don't want to start another car payment. otoh, my modded car has issues and it's getting tiring babysitting it. Then again, after getting $1000 in speeding tickets last couple months, i might have to just give up on life. decisions, decisions.

I love this ANGLE of the Accord.
Looks very BMWish.
And they need to make it hatchcoupe like the tC.

The characteristics of the car are also a big factor (RWD, high revving, etc.)

And yes, I agree, a boosted S2000 would be amazing! A 10 cylinder NSX would also be appreciated :D

Interesting look. Alot better then the egg mobile of their last model.

I almost see the new Mustang in the front end. The overall shape of the front and the grill
