I'm gonna get a Honda Accord '91 LX, 2 doors, stick shift.
I think the engine has 125 HP and 145 ft-lbs of torque.

I'm not into ricers at all, I'm more into V8 american muscle cars. But are there any easy mods that can give me a little bit more performance? A K&N air filter I guess would be an easy one, but anything else?

My aunt is giving this car to me as a gift and I don't intend to spend money on it except for a CD Player and very good tires, so that's why I don't want (or can't) to put a lot of money in it... anyway I'm *very* happy to be the future owner of her car, because I'm 19, this is my first car and I won't have to walk to university anymore!

Beside's the simple things like the filter, I'd keep a car like that simple, it's going to really do one thing for you that way.... LAST, those will go forever, save the money for something more in a performance line, those things stock will also give you the best milage so you save money in 2 ways :)

yah I guess so

I'm already looking forward to a 2001 Mustang GT that my mom's co-worker has. He usually keeps them for about 4 years, so I'll be out of university when he sells it, and it's gonna be in the 18-20k range I would guess...

Note: if someone cannot access the site, please tell me what your MTU is... I think it's a router/PPPoE problem that cannot handle packets over 1492 (or 1500 I don't remember)

Leave it alone. I have the same car but a 4 door. I did a major suspension overhaul and put in a cat-back exhaust but nothing else yet. You can't expect too much from the stock motor. That's why I'm saving for a H22A and a turbo to match :D.
