hello,
When I was driving, my car turned off sudenly. The mechanic said it was a problem in the DISTRIBUTOR. I bought one and it runs very well !!! After 15 minutes of driving and when I put more on gasoline pedal my car was suddenly turned of again and will never start . The electrician change te candles !! He says the distributor is ok and rhe gasoline pump is ok .. But the motor turns just when I try to turn on but will never start ... He can not find the solution ... Sorry for the poor english ...
Can some one help me on this please ?

I have a '98 Accord, and it had a well known issue in the ignition switch. It would start fine, run great, then shut off while on the road. At that point it would usually start back immediately but sometimes would take a couple of minutes. It never left me stranded but it's no fun when it shuts off. It was like a $50 part and a half hour of time and it's never acted up again. I don't know if your generation of Accord has a similar issue but if yours is stalling only when accelerating, it's not the same issue.

Thank you ! I don't think it is an ignition problem but I will check this wit the electrician. Just during the hard acceleration it shutts off and never started back.

It may be the ignition relay rather than the switch. In some cars the solder points develop cracks and they quit working when the car is warm.

If it doesn't start let it crank for a 10 or 15 seconds and then see if you can smell gas from the exhaust. If not, then it's probably the main relay under the dash as Yuriman suggested. Very common in 4th gen Accords.
