Guys are hornier and more promiscuous than women, in general.

So when you put two of them together, chances are they will try to find more ways to get down....

This is not something happening due to homosexuality, this is just a bunch of horny skeeves having sex with an air of anonymity and risk. If women were as randy as guys, you would see a lot more of this from Hetero's too.

Our local park actually has a "no backing in" sign. Serious.

That's probably to keep women from trying it, and hitting cars in the process :^D

I never heard of that being a gay thing. I almost always back into parking spaces. It makes visibility better when you're leaving, with possible douchebags speeding through parking lots.

That's been debunked for ages.

You are not connected with reality.

I have one immediate family member who made the choice and one immediate family member who did not. Both are gay.
I wouldn't be surprised to know that there are certain individuals that could feel attraction to both genders and make a conscious decision for homosexual relationships. Some people are largely asexual, and choose a mating gender for reasons besides sexual attraction. I think those tend be more the exception than the rule, however.

In any case, sexual orientation certainly isn't a binary or discrete set of categories, and it wasn't my intention to imply that no person was capable of making such a conscious decision.

Were they bisexual and chose to have homosexual sex/relationships or what?

The one that made the choice made it after going through a horrible divorce. She was so hurt and hated men so much she chose to switch sides and it just stuck.

Nope, just yours.

Both are.

Yours wasn't directed at me, and mine wasn't directed at you, so I'm not sure how you not finding gay sex repulsive invalidates my version of your original statement. Even though I quoted your original statement I didn't say you found gay sex repulsive, I said that "heteros" did.

Straight, making a conscious decision.

I doubt sexual attraction is as much of a "conscious decision", but let's say it was in your sibling's case. So the sexual attraction and romantic interest in the same gender developed because of the divorce? I'd say that's more the exception than the rule. It's also probably even rarer among males.

My granddad spent basically his whole life on the down low. Only got outed about a year before his death at 84. What's crazy looking back though is how much you realize holy crap granddad was a flaming old queen.

She chose female companionship and it grew from there. Humans adapt when they really want to, just like everything else on the planet.
