Wow, my new US Government teacher is a amazing... cool guy, werid assignment. Guy wants us to figure out a homonym for our names. And then draw it...

Homonym - One of two or more words that have the same sound and often the same spelling but differ in meaning, such as bank (embankment) and bank (place where money is kept).

Example:
Mr. Robertshaw
Master Rubber Straw
::Draws a kung-fu straw::

I'm trying to figure out one for my own name, but have been really unsuccesful. I've helped out like 4 or 5 of my peers, but haven't gotten any insight on a homonym for my name. Since you ATOT lurkers own, I'm open to any suggestions for my name.

Adam Black

Thanks

Anyone care to explain WHAT that has to do with the US government?

Well, other than the fact the gov't is largely populated by incompotent boobs. :p

That's not really a homonym :(

An example of a homonym would be Mistur Roburt Shah

But if that's acceptable, you might as well stretch your own name to something drawable

How close does it have to be? "I damn lack" works. Or how about a photo of Michael Jackson with the caption, "I am black?"

a damn black

That was my first thought as well, but probably not a good idea in the politically correct world in which we live. Someone would probably be "offended" by that and the OP would wind up in weeks if not years of mandatory sensitivity training for pennance in daring utter something which is the actual homonym of his name.

Wow, thanks guys... you guys own. Yeah, he's a weird one, but it's the first day, so I'll see after that. His isn't too good, but the homonym doesn't have to be perfect. My original was "A Damn Back", and draw a Mexican with a sombrero, in a canoe... even though I'm half-Mexican... not sure if it'd be ok to do. Madame Plaque seems like the winner for now, as it's one that will be pretty simple for an idiot like me to draw. Any more suggestions?
