The only nit-pick is its the cinematic hd remastered that they showed, and only like 35 seconds of the intro and no game play

But having said that... more than likely I will be getting it too

I'm gonna wait til we see more gameplay before I get excited.

The original homeworld had a tremendous amount of depth - bouncing battle balls, kami-salving - and allowed for fun stuff like grand theft starfleet, or those sweet missile corvettes with the special attack that could fire all the way across the map.

An awful lot of the best parts of that game came across as an accident, and they never did quite match the magic. Even cataclysm lost a lot, and HW2 wasn't even close.

Agreed... but ruined intro aside, I'm still excited about classic Homeworld with new, fancy graphics!

@everyone who has the cd and never played it or never heard even... how!? No better breath... Install and play that game, use mind goggles if you see too many polygons but enjoy real 3D freedom in space!
