Homeworld 2 problems - anyone else?

I downloaded the demo and installed it no problem. Every time I ran it though, the framerates were less than 1 frame per second, basically unplayable. I checked the resourse manager in XP and HW2.exe is using between 98 and 100% of my CPU cycles! I see other people having similar problems and others having no problems at all. Has anyone else had similar problems and gotten it to work?

Yeah, I got a Homeworld 2 problem - the Walmart I work at STILL didn't get the thing in yet!!!

But anyway....what videocard are you using? System specs? It should work; maybe it's an old video driver.

Edit: I just checked my Homeworld 2 CPU usage on my system; it's also at 99% when I'm back in Windows at the Task Manager with the game still running. But it runs just fine here.

hm yea, what are your specs, runs smooth here on a lousy 9000pro and 2.4ghz xp. 1024x768 max settings
