Depends on alot of factors, off the top of my head:
1. Location
2. Construction methods- 100% masonary is less expensive than 100% wood sided

I've been paying about $1100/yr in So. Cal. for a long time. I need to upgrade it and that's going to up the premium. This, by the way, doesn't include earthquake insurance.

Depends mostly on what natural disasters your area is prone to. I pay $400 a year in Phoenix, in Washington they probably have an earthquake premium. And if you live in an area that can be flooded, make sure you're covered. Lots of policies like to leave that out.

Too many factors involved: size (square footage) of house, age of house, type of construction, quality of fire protection, type of weather hazzards, etc.

Best to call around and get quotes.
