Homemade Mousepad?

cardboard from a legal pad. scissors...

now you should send me money via paypal for saving you so many dollars...

🙂

got anything made out of nylon - like the duffelbag/camera bad/bookbag type? If you can get it stretched even (which may require destroying the item) that ought to work pretty good with an optical mouse.

My friend always used the back of a brown paper grocery bag... he actually preferred it to regular mouse pads for CS for some reason.

Thanks for the ideas everyone 🙂 I don't have what any of you mentioned so I taped a piece of cardstock to my desk and it works fine. It's pink tho :?

Yeah, the mousepad never lies.

Peice of glass, glass cutter, and maybe something to cover the edges, or file it down nicely. Glass works well, I don't know if your mouse is optical though

I (and most of the world) use optical mouse, so any surface could qualify for a mouse pad. To include, thighs, carpet, sofa, palms, blankets, table, people's backs....etc...
