Homemade Laptop?

What does it take to do this? I've looked around on Google for laptop cases, laptop mobos, etc but I'm coming up dry. Any info would be appreciated.

Ain't gonna happen.

Perhaps it could be done somehow, but I doubt the result would be very satisfactory(too heavy, low performance, etc).
 
A laptop needs to be designed as a unit. You just can't say "oh, this motherboard is good...I'll take this one...oh, I like this case, lets use that with the motherboard"

Cooling, space effiency, weight, power consumption, all need to be kept in mind when desigining a laptop. As such, its MUCH more difficult to design a laptop than it is to design a laptop. Just buy a prebuilt and be happy.

Yeah, I'm not really in the market to buy a laptop, just wondered if anyone out there knew of homemade ones being made.
