I erred at the store, and bought this flying dog brewer beer. It's not that it's bad beer, but living in the US has made me a pussy, and it's a real slow drink. I should have stuck to old faithful: watered down piss, like miller lite.

Crab cakes are next to godliness.

what is different about a maryland crabcake?

There's a MD crabcake and then there is everything else. Once you've had the real thing, you won't want ANYTHING BUT a MD crab cake.

If you happen to be coming to MD by boat, make an effort to stop at Tangier and visit the Chesapeake House. Good food too.

Agreed that MD crabcakes are numero uno. But mine are a close second, and since I'm in Florida, I saved a hell of a lot of gas money. This, in turn, allowed me to buy extra brews, a Cuban cigar, (readily available down my way), and a Cuban lady of the evening, (also readily available down here).
So, when all the pros and cons are weighed, I'm happy with my Florida crab cakes. Now, if you'll excuse me, Maria is drawing my bath.
