Okay, so this morning my brother woke me up and told me that the FBI/Homeland Security was in my house. It was like 6:30am.

I go downstairs and they introduce themselves... apparently my brother is being investigated for 'buying explosives'. Since my family is Pakistani, they took it seriously. It wound up my brother knew this guy who was continually full of crap ("I own a brokerage firm!") told his friends not to talk to him because he was going to take them for a ride.

So this kid sends my brother an email saying "You'll be sorry! You shouldn't have ratted me out!"

Needless to say, the email was in his inbox. He printed it out for the FBI/Homeland Security guys and we just kinda chitchatted for a while.

Anyway, just wanted to share :)
Wait, wait wait... I'm totally confused.

Homeland Security was there because of an email? How the fsck did they know about the email in the first place? Am I the only one alarmed by this? LOL

No, that kid called the FBI and 'reported' my brother for trying to get explosives. Needless to say my brother works like 60 hours a week and I think he'd have a hard time getting explosives if he wanted to. He'd probably ask me where he could buy them online.

That kid sent an email threatening my brother before the fact. Apparently since my brother ratted him out for being a cheat and liar, he lost out on some possible dishonest money from suckers. My brother still had the email. They printed it out and said they would get it verified. That kid sent the email from a web-based account so apparently it's easy for them.

Yeah, I really hope that kid gets in some serious trouble for this.
