wow so almost everyone is dead... the reaming will be killed in a battle inside the embassy in the next 2 episodes? and last one will be just a filler. What a fucking end of a show... fuck it

what a turd CIA director

Yeah, but that was a slick trick they pulled with the husband. Showing him for the coward he is. I was raging to my wife that we were going to be robbed of any sense of justice for the season.

edit: Doh, I read CIA director and thought the Ambassador lady.

**Fara?**
fcking seriously? might as well have stabbed us in the back 🙁

QFfuckingT

I do like that they have Quinn going off the reservation now (seems that way anyway). Should be a good couple episodes, IMO.

actually, I take that back. Turd CIA Director finally stepped up and at least tried to save someone else. Too bad Saul looks like a broken man now.

I found the scene of him opening the door just ludicrous. Doesn't jive at all with what I think his character is. He would have stayed in the vault forever and let the terrorists kill everyone.

agreed. i thought him opening the door was extremely out of character. he was always portrayed as a calculated, ruthless politician type guy.

I liked it. I think it showed his breaking point - bullet through the head was one thing, but he couldn't take seeing someone (especially Fara?) beheaded in front of him. But I also think that one or more people in that room would have stopped him, assuming they all new how sensitive the information he had was. I bought that he wanted to give it up, but I didn't buy that the only one trying to stop him was the ambassador.

I also think it showed how big a difference it is for a guy like that to call the shots from behind a desk thousands of miles away vs. staring it in the face.

Mostly no complaints about the episode, though I kinda disliked the whole "bomb rubble blocking the hallway" thing. Kinda cheesy looking... like a cartoon or something. But a minor complaint.

Screamed of Han and Leia trying to get off of Hoth to me.

Episode was solid. Entirely unbelievable of course (RPGs to the caravan and no key characters in the caravan die? They would have pummeled those cars until they were ash)

Like the stuff with Ambassador's husband and how he is a complete coward.

Lockhart was good too -- I think he just broke and couldn't face the action himself. That a little dash of "F*ck these people. F*ck this whole country. Let them destroy themselves" He hated them since he landed on the ground.

The idea behind the attack was to draw out the Marines from the embassy. If they were all dead already then they'd never make the call for reinforcements. And if they left anyone else alive instead of Carrie/Saul then they might have sent less Marines.

I always pegged him as the hard ass talker who would squirm if actually put into a nasty situation. He was not an ex-spook that rose up to lead the CIA. He was a Senator who played the power game for it.

There have been only 3, maybe 4 solid episodes this 12 episode season, so far.

Yeah this season has been fairly weak. I was kind of hoping Quinn would have pressed the button on the detonator and killed Carrie. That would have been a plot twist. 😀

I think this season has been okay. Was sick of Brody (and really sick of his daughter). Definitely enjoying it more than the last season of SOA... not that that's setting the bar particularly high.

I wish they'd find a way to write Brody's wife back into the storyline.

Maybe i'm mistaking but the 3 front black SUVs were RPGed...the key characters were in white SUVs back in the row...
