Homeland seasons 1-4!

I couldn't stop watching season 1 and watched the whole season in one weekend, but I couldn't even finish one episode of season 2.

Wait, I lied, I think I did finish watching the first episode after about three sittings. I'm currently about 15 minutes in on the second episode and that was more than a month ago.

I'm not even sure why. What changed?

This show could have been a lot better than it ended up. The premise is outstanding, but they are killing it with the whole Carrie-Brody romance. Not sure why the writers felt the need to go down that path. Something for the casual female audience? It takes up too much time and is distracting.

Oh, you're the one.

Really, S2 was pretty good. But it was a big step down from the first season.

This is the problem. Season 1 set the bar so damn high, pretty much anything was going to be a letdown. I still liked it overall, but it was indeed nothing compared to season 1.

Looking forward to season 3 though.

I got suckered into watching this show, and it's very weird in that it is addictive and engaging while simultaneously not having a single character you enjoy watching on-screen!

Two episodes into the 3rd season, the charm is gone and all we're left with is the horde of annoying characters that no one likes.

Terrorists are bad, but the cia is somehow even worse. They attempt to bring evil bankers into the 3rd season to be the bad guy the cia is apparently good & noble for going after, but it ain't working... They need a miracle to save the show.

Watched the episodes of season 3 but ended up having minimized to basically background noise. I have no idea what the point of the story is anymore. I enjoyed season 1 except for the ended. I wanted the attack to go off. Season 2 was the annoying Carrie Brody love affair and now with 3 it's going down the same route. Over this show.

Carrie is crazy. Saul is mean. And Dana is sad. That is all.

You're wrong about Dana; she wants to LIVE!!1
Crazy googly-eyed Carrie is tiring. I think every scene of hers in episode 2 had her blurting out some craziness or "f-f-f-f-f-f-ffcking Saul!! *tear*"

peter quinn and new analyst are why i'll watch another episode.

They had one season's worth of story that they're now stretching out to a third season, and it isn't working. Season two had a lot of bad parts in it as well. They should have had Brody go through with the attack in season one, and should not have left the Carrie is Crazy story in the forefront.
