Well.....if you are illegal, then watch out! :) Otherwise, I wouldn't worry too much, not like you are going to get deported for no reason. However, if you come from a hot spot (i.e. Afghanastan, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq, ect.), then you might get questioned.

Are you white? If so, you've got it made. If you are black, then you might have some problems because of the problems in Africa as of late.

I would say as long as your here legally, payed your taxes and don't break any laws, then the ISN could care less about ya.

As sad as that is, it's probably true.

Actually, with the INS's track record of late, if you're an illegal you're more likely to be overlooked than not...

Hopefully, it means you will part your hair and lace your shoes the way we say you will, or your ass gets the big "D" and I don't mean Dallas.

As long as you don't violate the terms of your stay, you'll be fine. Examples are:

Residing at the address at which you're supposed to be residing.

Not over-staying your welcome.

Actually fulfilling your stated purpose for being here (if you're here on a student VISA, it will help immensely if you're actually enrolled in a school and attending it).

All rather simple rules and expectations, really, that many immigrants can't seem to follow.
